not sure if it is ok coz the nurse advice me to be on time because trigger shot matures the eggs and it can float free from about 34 hours after hCG, giving a four-hour window for egg retrieval, which is scheduled 36 hours after the hCG injection..

if its earlier the eggs might go out from the follicles naturally...

i been reading so many of you ladies are getting Gonal-F.. and growing so many follicles.. it made me wonder why is it different from mine..

this is my first, my cycle seems to be super short.. i was given oral meds Letrozole n folic acid.. scan.. then follow by 3 of Orgalutran jabs.. then scan.. then Puregon 900.. 2 times jab of 450.. and addition 2 of Orgalutran jabs...scan.. And finally the trigger shot Ovidrel 250.. on day 9.. then my day 11 i had my egg retrieval.. I only had 2 follicles grown, 2 eggs retrieved, and now waiting for transfer day, they didn’t call me to tell me if my eggs ferterlize, just call me for the timing to come..

I am hopeful, please pray for me..

Oh ur cycle sounds unfamiliar to me. 900 puregon 1 shot? Is that too high a dosage? Which hosp are u with?

I have yet to start my ivf. Some long story there.. Was diagnosed with high tsh at nuh and was put on 4 months medication, and 1 month into my medication my repeat blood test was put on hold due to covid but nuh didn't advise me to stop medication for now and I continued for another 2 months. Decided to go back to kkh 2 months later and did my repeat tsh and realised my tsh dropped way too low to not even 1. Then now I have to continue medication to bring my tsh up again, only can start ivf until my tsh is back to at least 2 I think.
Supposed to go back to kkh end April for repeat tsh test but with the situation now not sure if can I still proceed, will call them again nearer to date.
Honestly the TSH med can bring it down quite fast...i took when my levels were at 2.8. Took it for a month and then stopped it myself but didnt do a blood test.

Almost 4 months later, did a blood test before my FET to check on TSH and it was 1.9.

Trust me, I have been there done that. Hugs. It will not be easy because you never know what is going on inside. I saw in the other forum, you are having twins? And its a subchorionic haematoma? I went through the same thing. If it helps in reassuring you (although I don’t think it does much, I bled from week 4 to week 14). All 50 shades of red/pink/brown. I was on 2 jabs per week, max pessaries, oral, as much progesterone I could get. Gynae told me progesterone will help but will only help so much. The clot has to bleed out or self absorb then it will stop.

Hang in there, have faith in your babies. Hugs.
Yup twins and it is subchorionic hematoma. It was seen as 2 cm in week 6 (as big or bigger than both the sacs) but this week, the babies looked bigger and doctor said the blood clot got smaller. It happens to be on top of both the water bags.

Did a scan twice in week 5, twice in week 6 and once in week 7. Honestly not sure if I still wanna go in again as my next appointment is only on week 9 :(
But with quite heavy brown spotting off and on, might just go in again. Had 5 jabs as of now, last one this Monday. I asked the doctor if there is a possibility the clot will bleed out and he said no. So i got more worried wondering where this new spotting is from.

i know right.. i cannot find anyone the similar to mine.. KKH.. 900 but it was split into 450 per day.. the last 100 was during my clinic visit.. the total was 1000 actually.. ‍♀

Oh 450 a day, then it's ok.. my dosage was also very high for my 3rd fresh cycle at nuh...

I think not many calculate the total dosage for the cycle, cos some will need more days while some lesser

But anyway ur stimulation only 3 days?

Yea.. But doctor from nuh didn't share this and didn't advise me to stop after a month or two, so I just continue not knowing the dosage is quite high :( I feel there's abit of negligence on the doctor's end..

It’s quite common for twin preg to have spotting. Some spot throughout first trimester. Bed rest is important. Besides jab u can check with doctor if there is a need to increase support Med dosage. Take care.

1-3 days was just oral - letrozole.. then jabs 6 days.. on my 6th day the night was trigger shot.. it happen so fast..

Maybe check with your doc again? I googled a lot on other forums to know that if it is a SCH it will stop (most of the time) eventually, just depending on size of blood clot because it usually bleeds out or self absorbs. If it helps, get a second opinion. That was what I did because my first gynae could not give me a satisfactory explanation why I was continually bleeding. Found one who specialises in early pregnancy bleeding.

I continued spotting even after my clot was no longer seen on the ultrasound to which my gyane said could be the irritation to cervix by the pessaries.
Yup gonna drop by again tomm...hopefully to get a jab again as well. Currently seeing THH since he is quite well know with IVF pregnancies

Did my IVF in JB, cant continue with the same clinic due to COVID

Another gynae i was seeing previously in Mt E has also stopped seeing patients now due to covid

Scanned again today....one baby is now not so visible :( so the spotting could be due to that...

Will scan again in a week to see the status...quite sad since both heartbeats were strong last week

One thing I never considered before though is we transferred 2 PGS tested embryos - 1 euploid and 1 was very low mosaic on karyotype 16. I had my reservations with it then but the doctor assured low mosaic is perfectly alright to be transferred. I am now wondering if the second baby is really not visible now, could that be the main issue

It could be implantation spotting in your case?

Just wondering if the 4 reached day 5 blastocyst already why still need to wait till day 6 and 7?

dr mentioned it was just a "good grade", and they wanted it to grow further for an excellent grade before they can freeze it. felt lost after embryologist called 2 days after to update but it didnt make. i guessed ill redo all over again if my fresh fails.

Dont worry.. your spotting could still be from the abrasions of the egg retrieval or even implantation coz your beta date is nearing...

Stay positive and thankful.. we all have come this far.. just chill and wait for the Beta day..

hugs!!! ♥♥♥

thanks so much!
i really hope its implantstion cz maybe everyone experience differently with our body. will be positive n keep monitoring, will call kkh mon to ask cz am still on meds n tablet.

Hmm... I am wondering why they did not freeze the other 3 since they are blastocysts already, which is the usual practice. Then again, your doctor probably has made the most suitable judgement call for you. Don’t stress.

I spotted 6 days before my blood test and into my trimester 2. Stay calm and have faith.
as its my first ivf journey, i gave dr to decide cz they know better. if its meant for me then it will be.
so happy for u, u are in ur 2nd trim, and after reading u spotted 6 days before ur blood test it gave me some reassurance.

hope we all make it thru all the way, baby dust to all :)

But as with any spotting. Call kkh or just walk in and see if they can give you a jab. Tell them you did ivf, waiting for blood test and you are spotting. Hope this helps!

hi
i also did my ivy in Jb and could not go there
can u tell me which doc r u currently seeing

How is he currently in Alpha? Saw reviews he wasn't ideal after moving to pte.
I find him good :) I mean I have been to 3 gynaes including him and somehow he has been the most courteous of all. Even my husband finds him very gentle and caring. If all goes well and I need to give birth in Sg, I will opt for him. Of course I would prefer to be back in my hometown though since my mom is there to help take care of me

U can try dr SF Loh. He manages my pregnancy very well even to the last stage when I have complication and had to deliver early.
Sometimes bleeding cannot be explained and u just have to wait it out. Dr can give proluton jabs (usually twice a week) and up your support medication. Try to rest more.

Hi, my husband and I are an Indian couple based in Singapore.

We found each other later in life. We have been trying to have a child of our own past few years and it’s been a uphill battle. Our last ivf cycle too ended in disappointment. We have bee advised to consider egg donor.

We are in search of a kindhearted woman to bless us with donor eggs to help us bring an angel to this world. We are well educated and are able to provide adequate support to the willing donor to help us through this process.

Our only hope now is through the generosity and kindness of an egg donor. If you are 20-36 years of age, Indian ethnicity (or a close match in appearance), ideally based in Singapore, healthy, non smoker are interested in helping our dreams of having a family come true then please pm me.

We are a serious and responsible couple and would like to start the process soonest possible.

hi ladies, I'm just tested bfp for my ivf! im on crinone insert and I notice the crinone discharge is in pink colour. this has happened almost once or twice everyday since my tww, even today. im wondering if this will be a concern? I spoke to two nurses at kkh and their responses are different so im quite confuse..

PGS will significantly increase the pregnancy and live birth chances. Its not 100% success, but the chances are better
http://drgeoffreysherivf.com/pros-cons-preimplantation-genetic-screening-pgs-used-selectively/

In SG, PGS used to be illegal. But now its offered at 3 gov hospitals on a trial basis since 2017. Heard that they will refuse to transfer abnormal embryos, and u cannot check the gender.

Interesting videos which inform patients that PGS (Preimplantation Genetic Screening), also known as PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing - Aneuploidy) is absolutely unnecessary for egg donation cycles:

Saw that you're sharing alot of infor regarding PGS. Are u from healthcare faculty? Or personally tried PGS?

Is PGS (Preimplantation Genetic Screening) or PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing - Aneuploidy) useful for older women, or women with low ovarian reserves? Here are interesting videos that discuss this issue:
