Hi ladies, after 3 times failed iui..ive decided to go for ivf in april..but the problem now is..my mense have not come for 1 mnth plus..4 times neg preg test..dr given me duphaston for 10 days to make my menses come..now 10 days over and should wait for another 5 days for mense to come..now is day 3...menses should come by this week...but im quite worried if after 5 days menses still not coming..then i cnt start on my ivf medication..anyone has experience this before?

I’m sorry for all that you have gone through. Its quite a tough journey and at times it can make you depressed. Thats why this group was formed. You support one another in whatever one’s journey may be. I have pinged you and I hope you’ll find all the support you require.

hi...i am creating another chat group for secondary infertility issues and thus going for ivf/icsi.

meaning those who already have child / children but have problem conceiving again.

anyone had their ivf put on hold by doctor due to high TSH level ?

how long did u have to treat your TSH level before you finally went on to ivf ?

my TSH level today is 5.74.

i was 1st given 25mcg thyroid meds to decrease my tsh. after today’s appointment i was given 50mcg. currently also waiting for appointment with thyroid specialist.

Hi,
I’m new to this forum. I am assuming my ICSI/IVF first fresh cycle treatment failed as I had spotting on day 7 after ET. Followed by heavy flow period blood on day 10. Still 5 days away from blood test! Called up clinic to have an early re-schedule of blood test because I see no point waiting till Friday with having full blood pads. I coulnd’t stop crying.

I was put on hold, and try several years to regulate TSH level but recently I met another two gynae who told me can try TTC while managing TSH level with medicine. Wasted time waiting...so would suggest you get a second doc opinion. Hope this helps.

i was hoping for some good news but i am worried at the same time too.

Based on your TSH level, it seems that you have hypothyroidism. Mine was at the other end i.e. hyperthyroidism so my TSH reading was super low, almost negligible. Anyway my point is it would be good to get second opinion esp. if age is catching up. All the very best! :)
 
Hi,I’m interested to join the group too. Been ttc since 2014-2015.Tried tcm in 2017 but no luck. Saw fertility specialists and a gynae at kkh .. conclusion was the same that I had to go for surgery to remove fibroids and endometrial cysts. IVF would be the next step after I recover from my surgery...

just take a queue at the polyclinic to see doctor then you tell the doctor u can’t seem to conceive would like to refer to fertility specialist at kkh/sgh/nuh

then the doctor will do the necessary :)

Just to check I just got the referral letter and appointment is fixed at NUH as requested. But can i request to see Prof PC Wong at my first appointment? Tq :)

Then u need to call in to request for prof Pc Wong. By requesting, you are consider as private patient.
