Hi missyb

Tcm advise observe and take medication. I don't want to remove. Gynae mentioned that since I ald gave birth to 2 kids can remove uterus so that won't have problem of adnomyosis. Else just leave it and go back for check up after 6 months. Really depressed and esp so pain during menses time and really need management to understand. Even take painkiller also can't ease the pain

Can I ask which doctor and TCM did you seek in the end which told you it was a wrong diagnosis? Would love to get second opinion. Thank you :)
I saw Dr Yeoh Swee Choo and Dr Tham Kok Fun. Eventually did the lap with Dr Tham. The cysts were identified via u/s and not by tcm. I went to tcm Dr Zou Yumin after the scan to get her advise.

But I did not see Dr Nair so it wasn't him who gave the initial diagnosis.

Fyi if I am not wrong, endo can only be really confirmed via lap. Not sure about the rest.

Hi gals, can I know how do u all find out from having endometresis?
I had painful periods and after many years it progressed to mid cycle spotting lasting a week each time. Got referred for u/s and ovarian cysts were discovered. Endo suspected and only confirmed via laproscopy to remove cysts where doc can view the organs.

Hi anyone is taking Gnrh Agonist? I have done my final jab on 11/09 which is my 4th. Had been spotting Everyday since then. I wonder if it is normal.

Ladies who have done the jabs, did you see improvements? Any after effect after your last jab?

Thank you so so much!

Hi Hi,
I always have spotting before menses, could it be endometriosis? I do not have painful menses.

Dr Tan HH suggested that I do endoscopy, I think is the same as Hysteroscopy, not to sure if I should go do anot.. Hysteroscopy is able to confirm if I have endometriosis?

Can still be pregnant if I have endometriosis?

Thanks in advance.

Hi panffy,

the spotting is usually 1 day to 2 days before AF. So i guess i should go with the Hysteroscopy.

If is polyps, is it still possible to be pregnant?

Thank you.

I removed my polyps and parts of my endo ... took jabs to suppress my endo.. just ended so waiting for my period to come n do testing... my endo blocked my left tube. Once polyps r removed you shouldn’t be spotting anymore :)

O..so u jus remove ur polyps?

Sorry i,m not so familiar... but why need to take jabs? The jabs is taken after the removal? Previously did u do HSG to check for block tubes?

Don’t worry, it’s understandable that you are asking questions, glad to be able to help :)

I removed my polyps and part of my endo as some cling to my intestine and left tube. Doc couldn’t remove all as it might hurt the organs. The jab is to suppress the female hormones to try to reduce endo, hopefully it will not block my left tube anymore for me to increase chance of conceiving. Jab to be taken after surgery. Had HSg done before and left was blocked. When u do hysteroscopy, everything can be seen.

Sorry 1 more qtn.. do u feel like ur pelvis pain / sore before / during AF??

Is it a symptoms of polyps ?

I do have pain starting from ovulation to towards period but it can be due to endo... polyps normally are painless from what I heard from my doctor. Which doctor are you seeing now?

Hi all, it's been a long time since I came to this forum as we still had not conceived. I would like to share my experience with you because I think we need all the support there is, so feel free to ask me any questions!

I just had my surgery to remove endometriosis on Mon, 23 Oct, at TMC with Dr Steven Teo. Am recovering at home now, thank God. Talking about issues help me feel better, and I hope my experience benefits you too.

How did I find out that I have endometriosis?
I started having cramps every month every period since early 2014, cramps can sometimes be so bad I faint and break out in cold sweat, I even got sent to A&E once. I also had crazily heavy flow that floods me and severe diarrhea. I first went to see a gynae in Aug 2014, but because endometriosis is not detectable via scans, most doctors would not recommend laparoscopy for diagnosis. So all I got was painkillers. We were also starting TTC intentionally then. In those 3 years, I took my BBT everyday, have been on 5 cycles of clomid yet nothing worked. We also did the necessary tests and found nothing to be unusual. In a flash, 3 years of heartache passed with everyone around us having kids and even moving on to 2nd kid.

We decided in Sep 2017 to see a specialist to do IUI, and through recommendation we approached Dr Steven Teo on 20 Sep 17. Pelvic examination, transvaginal u/s and (TMI) check via poop hole which found that I had pain mostly on the left ligament was done. By symptoms and elimination of reasons why we could not conceive, Dr Teo informed that there was a 90% chance I had endometriosis which was causing infertility due to the inflammation. He advised that IUI would not increase much of the chances since the inflammation is still detrimental to the egg and swimmers. He suggested surgery to diagnose and remove the endometriosis based on 5 important factors. Egg reserves, swimmers quality, uterus cavity condition, age and clear tubes I think? He felt it was a good option as we had no issues with those factors. Surgery came as a big shock to me, I've never been in hospital and I was overwhelmed, but after talking to a few people, they encouraged me to go for it as it also benefits my health. So 1 week later, we met Dr Teo and scheduled the surgery within a month.

Sorry for my long story, I am very much willing to share with you my journey :)
God bless!

Hi babylovin,

Do u experience before mense?

Dr nv ask u to do hysteroscopy?

Hi shigure1234!

Sometimes I have pain the day before period too, like my last cycle before the scheduled surgery which was excruciating -_-"
Dr Teo did hysteroscopy at the same time, I think the procedure is something like 4 in 1? I don't exactly know what's the 4, need to check my consent form, but the clinic assistants were raving that Dr Teo is very good at 4 in 1 haha.

Hello.. hope you will be blessed with good news soon!

I ttc for 2 years before going for lap and conceived 13 months after. Took visanne for endo for 3 months after lap. It stopped my periods and allowed the insides to heal properly.

Will you be on short term meds like this after your mc? Hope you will succeed in the small window post lap before endo returns!

Hi 2angles2016 :)
That's wonderful news for you, glad you managed to conceive.
Dr did not mention about taking meds to stop periods, he said can try after the 1st/2nd period. Apparently my case was on the serious side so having removed the endometriosis is boosting up our chances I supposed? I really want to hang on to the hope he gave us :)

Yes yes, please do k... don’t be shy, very Glad to help. Keep me updated k

Hi all, I just did my HSG X-ray 2 days ago and found that my left tube has been unblocked! I took 4 rounds of Gnrh Agonist jabs after my lap surgery. So thankful that I can finally ovulate monthly now.

Hi can anyone advise on the bill to clear the fallopian tube ?
KKH good ? I think my doc is LUKE

Hi!
I did mine at SGH, it was "Fallopian Tube Recanalisation", under sedative anesthesia(asleep), 2200 SGD, 1000 deducted from my hubby's medisave, so 1200 sgd cash paid. Dr Yu advised me to do that, because my first HSG showed both tube were blocked. So finally after Recanalisation my tubes are fine.
