All-in-one digital resource to help seniors age well
Thu Mar 24 @ 8:00 am – Fri Mar 24 @ 5:00 pm
To empower seniors in their journey of lifelong learning, senior volunteerism and positive ageing, the Council for Third Age (C3A) launched its newly revamped website (www.c3a.org.sg) and mobile app that provide a one-stop platform with a wide range of learning and volunteering opportunities to keep seniors active, socially connected and engaged.
The refreshed website and mobile app are also the first digital platforms in Singapore to bring together learning resources such as courses, articles and videos, volunteering activities, and news and events curated for seniors. What’s more, they can enjoy access to senior-related deals, activities, schemes and more, on the go.
With over 1,000 learning opportunities conducted by over 50 course partners, seniors can explore different interests, learn something new or upskill professionally. They can take their pick from different learning formats, from short-term and packaged courses to online learning, on a wide variety of topics. This includes popular topics like health and mental wellness, financial literacy, business, technology, cybersecurity, and arts & crafts.
Seniors can also look forward to more digital learning formats, expansion of topics and variety of asynchronous learning courses where they can learn at their own pace and time on the C3A website and mobile app.
The refreshed website and mobile app also come with new features for a more personalised user experience. Seniors can create their own account to track their learning journey, bookmark and share courses and events, and do a self-assessment quiz to find courses that best suit their learning interests. The website and mobile app’s interface also have senior-friendly features such as font size adjustment and contrast mode for seniors with visual difficulties.
If you are a senior or have senior family members, visit www.c3a.org.sg or download the C3A app on the App Store or Google Play to start them on their active ageing journey.
