CNY Cheongsam 2020: Because Matching Traditional Outfits for the Whole Family is a Thing
Chinese New Year always brings about a flurry of excitement. And it begins with donning your brand-new CNY outfit before making rounds to visit family and friends. The traditional cheongsam or qipao has been given contemporary updates, making it the ‘in’ thing in recent years. And like with most things, the smaller they are, the cuter they get! We’ve scouted around to find the most adorable traditional CNY cheongsam 2020 options for little ones. Mums and dads can get matchy-matchy too!
1. BabyPixie
Singapore-based online boutique BabyPixie designs whimsical outfits for babies and children. They also do matchy-matchy collections for mums and kids, which are especially popular during CNY. One of our favourite designs this year is the colourful Fortune Dogs collection. It features a cheongsam for ladies, cheongsam dress for girls, and Mandarin-collar shirt for boys. The mother-daughter Twinkle Twinkle Fortune Jars qipao dresses are super sweet too.
