End the year on a sweet note at KidZania Singapore’s Christmas Kandy Land! Listen to enchanting Christmas Tales, join the Snowfall Party (11:15am, 1:15pm and 4:15pm), and create your own Christmas tree ornament. Finally, let the kids experience the joy of giving by using their earned KidZos to make a purchase from the Gift Donation Kiosk. This year’s has 40 majestic light sculptures, including Asia’s tallest luminarie Christmas tree and a 21-metre tall Spalliera. Watch the Annular Solar Eclipse on Boxing Day

Okay this is not a Christmas event, but it happens on Boxing Day and you get to witness the Sun turn into a Ring of Fire in the sky! This is a once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event where day turns to night — in real life, not the movies — as a result of the moon moving in front of the sun. Don’t miss it! Remember to get a pair of solar glasses from the Science Centre’s Curiousity Shop before you go. P/S: We hear that the next annular solar eclipse will happen in 2063!

Learn more about this event at The Sun, The Moon and Everything in Between workshop from 9.30am to 11.30am. Register online here ($100 per parent-child pair, inclusive of Science Centre admission).
