Singapore Night Festival
Firstly, the Singapore Night Festival returns for its 15th edition and it’s bigger than ever. Explore the ‘Art of Play’ via luminous installations and projections across the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct. The headline act, Wonder World – The Machine of Nostalgia, reimagines the magic of 1950s amusement parks, complete with carnival fun for everyone. Also look forward to four unique Festival Villages at SMU Campus Green, CHIJMES, Armenian Street, and the new Twilight Playground @ GR.iD.

A Date with Tradition
In conjunction with the Singapore Night Festival, Arts House Limited presents A Date with Tradition. Expect dynamic performances and interactive drop-in activities that celebrate the richness of traditional arts. Take part in UPSIZED Fun and Games, try Korean polychromatic art form Minhwa Art, and add your touch to a community mural. As dusk falls, see the Stamford Arts Centre transform with two stunning light art installations.

Hello Kitty 50th Run Fest 2024
Lace up your shoes and gather your loved ones to celebrate friendship and fun with Hello Kitty & Friends. They’ll be there to flag off the Adults 4km Fun Run and Kids 900m Dash and cheer you on. Participants take home limited-edition collectibles galore. Come dressed in your best Sanrio outfits and stand a chance to win extra prizes. The run, join in Hello Kitty’s birthday celebrations, complete with a pinata and candy cannons!

Sands for Singapore Charity Festival
Sands for Singapore Charity Festival commemorates its 10th year of giving with a three-day festival. Community Chest Heartstrings Walk 2024
Supported by Marina Bay Sands, the Community Chest Heartstrings Walk also takes place that same weekend. And believe it or not, the charity’s mascot Sharity turns 40 this year! Learning Gallery at SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark
Singapore Art Museum (SAM)’s new Learning Gallery opens at its home ground at Tanjong Pagar Distripark. Outside the gallery, a letter addressed to their inner child will greet adult visitors. Upon entering the gallery, children can experience the artworks in their own special way. By incorporating various interactive elements to allow for deeper engagement, families get multiple opportunities to bond over art.

Exciting Activities at Science Centre Singapore
There’s lots happening at the Singapore Science Centre this August. Firstly, catch the first-ever Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix Singapore Finals this weekend, complete with fringe entertainment like RC car racing and carnival activities for the whole family. Then join Otto’s Adventure storytelling sessions on weekends, the mythical Book Lovers Day from 8 to 11 August, and Meowstery in Space! workshop on 31 August.

POP Toy Show Singapore 2024
Did you go for the inaugural POP Toy Show last year? Then you’ll be glad to know that global phenomenon POP MART’s iconic event is back. Headlining the show this year is Dimoo in the Garden City.
