Pet-friendly Hotels in Singapore for the Whole Family, Furkids Included!

Which Singaporean doesn’t love a fuss-free staycation every now and again? But for many of us, our family units extend beyond grandpa, grandma, daddy, mummy and kids. We consider our furkids and feathered babies family members too, and we hate to leave them out. If this describes your family, then you’re in luck. Here are our findings after checking in with pet-friendly hotels and serviced apartments in Singapore.

Paw-cations at Family- and Pet-friendly Hotels

It’s true that there aren’t that many options when it comes to pet-friendly hotels in Singapore. And we hope that more hotels will jump on this furry family bandwagon. Thankfully, the ones that do allow pets also offer excellent family-friendly staycay experiences!

Regent Singapore

Plan the paw-fect retreat with Regent Singapore’s Weekend Pet Staycation Package. It includes a Welcome PuppyPack with chew toy, Woofer&Purrlensky microfibre towel, Leonica K Trichology dog shampoo and antibacterial hand sanitiser. You’ll also get Loyalty Pet Treats, a pet bed, water and food bowl, bottled water and handy off-site dog-walking map.

But the best part? You enjoy $100nett in-room dining credit that you can spend on the in-room pet menu! Pooches will love The Rin Tin Tin, a succulent sirloin burger, while kitties can lick up the Cat’s Meow, a serving of baked tuna or salmon. Special diet needs? Executive Chef Angelo Ciccone and his team will even customise gourmet pet meals upon request!

Although the amenities are clearly targeted at dogs and cats, other pets such as rabbits and hamsters are allowed too. Pets are also welcome in the hotel’s public areas, except inside F&B establishments where food is served, or in the swimming pools. We recommend hanging out at the lobby area of Dolcetto.

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

Over at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, all pets receive a personalised pet towel with their name embroidered on it! A luxury pet-friendly stay here also comes with a special pet bed, bowl and bottled water. As pampered pets tend to have their own customised diet, paw-rents are welcome to speak to the chefs who are happy to create delectable treats according to your wishes.

All pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and birds are welcome, except F&B outlets, health club and pool areas. This isn’t applicable to guide dogs, of course. In either case, do keep your pets leashed or caged in public areas. Also, note that there is a one-time charge of $100nett for specialised housekeeping procedures required upon your check-out.

Capella Singapore

Pet-friendly hotels - Capella Singapore

What about heading ‘overseas’ to our very own resort island of Sentosa? Capella Singapore is one of the most luxurious pet-friendly hotels that welcomes small- to medium-sized pets (one pet up to approximately 6kg per guestroom, suite or villa). Well-known for customising amenities to your family’s specific needs, it’s no different when it comes to your beloved family pet. Pet amenities include pet bed and bowl, for starters.

Pets are allowed in all common spaces of the hotel, except F&B outlets, The Living Room, function venues, Auriga Spa, cascading pools and villa plunge pools. You’ll need to sign a pet agreement form prior to check-in too. Oh, and note that dogs are not allowed on the Sentosa shuttle service. But don’t worry, you’re just a short walk away from pet- and kid-friendly Palawan Beach!

Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa

The package is designed for couples or families with one dog weighing up to 7kg. The complimentary Fur Kid Welcome Pack includes Wellness Petite Entrees and Treats, Wellness Core Kibbles, Woosh Pet Wipes, HoneyCare Waste Bag and dog toy. Your pooch will luxuriate in a plush dog bed and dine from a Loving Pets Bella stainless steel food bowl. What’s more, you can also order from the exclusive Pampered Paws In-room Menu curated by Silversky and Stellar Pets.

The package also includes buffet breakfast for two adults and $10 dining credit at Shutters. Which is perfect, since pets are not allowed in the gym, swimming pool areas and F&B outlets, except the al fresco area at Shutters!
