This August, sail away with Water B’s tokidoki river cruise! Explore Singapore’s iconic sights with these larger-than-life characters.

Singapore’s newest water taxi operator, Water B, is making a big splash in the scene with its tokidoki river cruise. A world first, these larger-than-life characters will accompany you on your journey to see Singapore’s most iconic sights.

Neon-Coloured Cuteness

Sail past the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, the Esplanade and more with the whole family. While enjoying the sights, take in the adorable tokidoki characters all around you! Just in time for National Day, this river cruise will also feature five Singaporean tokidoki characters. Can you guess what they are?

We (myself and our videographer, SK) loved how bright the themed cruise was. You could tell it apart from the others at the dock even from far away. Decorated inside and out, tokidoki characters filled the entire boat! From the bright exterior, to seats decorated in neon colours, it was a feast for the eyes. Even the ceiling and back of the chairs were decked out in tokidoki!

Exclusive Singaporean Characters

The three large figurines on the deck also made for great Instagram opportunities! Our favourite was the adorable Merlion tokidoki character at the back of the boat. Created especially for Singapore, this character is a new addition to tokidoki. Be sure to queue early to get your shot; it was one of the most popular attractions on board the cruise!

We were hoping to get our hands on a plushie of the Merlion on board, but it wasn’t available. Don’t be dismayed, as the organisers have told us that this is in the pipeline. Fingers crossed that we’ll get our hands on one soon!

The other figurines on board were equally adorable. Another favourite among the kids was the unicorn. Its bright, neon pink hair definitely captured our attention! We also liked how “punk” some of the tokidoki characters looked, giving us cuteness, but with an edge.

Sail Past Singapore’s Iconic Sights

If you’ve never taken your little ones on the river cruise, this tokidoki cruise is a great option. They’ll learn about Singapore’s iconic sights while enjoying the colourful tokidoki interior, too! Plus, it’ll make for great pictures and memories in the years to come.

However, if you’ve already been on a river cruise recently, the tokidoki one isn’t any different. The 45-minute ride goes along the same route as the others, and you just pay more for the theme. If you and the kids are big tokidoki fans, however, then this tokidoki cruise is a must-do.

Adorable Tokidoki Merchandise

Fans of tokidoki rejoice! Each ticket on this river cruise comes with exclusive Water B tokidoki merchandise. This bundle is worth $35, including –

  • 1 x exclusive tokidoki lanyard + coin pouch
  • 1 x exclusive tokidoki keychain
  • 1 x exclusive tokidoki luggage tag.

If that isn’t enough, you’ll be able to purchase plushies and keychains on board! These start from $10.

The tokidoki river cruise will run for a year, starting from 2 Aug 2018. If you’re planning to give it a try, it’s best to go as soon as possible. As part of the National Day festivities, Water B is extending a special promotion of 10% off all river cruise bookings made in the month of August 2018!

Head in the direction of Liang Court to find Water B’s Fort Canning Jetty. It’s opposite the shopping mall, so parking is convenient too. Don’t be blur like us and end up at the jetty outside The Central!
