1. Have An Easter Staycation

Easter staycation anyone? If you’re a true blue Singaporean, you’ve probably booked your stay already. Any excuse for a va-cay right, even if it’s right in your own backyard?

Sweeten your Easter holiday with a dose of luxury at The Fullerton Hotel. Away from the bustle of town, The Ramada and Days Hotel (both at Zhongshan Park) have Easter Great Getaway (EGG) staycation deals and dining offers. It’s $200++ for a night’s stay and Sunday brunch for two at Days Hotel Singapore; and $288++ for a night’s stay, buffet breakfast and Easter High Tea for two along with a late check-out at 2pm at the Ramada Singapore. On Sunday afternoon between 2pm and 3pm, an Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Zhongshan Park where little diners of both hotels’ restaurants can work off their energy hunting for Easter eggs.

2. Spread Some Easter Cheer

Forget Barbie dolls. Gift little fashionistas with the well-dressed eggs at the Shangri-La Hotel, where Area Executive Pastry Chef Hervé Potus’ Shangri-La Fashion Collection has created six Easter eggs dressed in the iconic Shangri-La bellman, chef, life guard, housekeeping, engineer and The Line’s service staff uniform, paying tribute to the heroes behind Shangri-La’s legendary hospitality. Little boys (and girls too!) will love the bountiful Easter Hamper ($138) that comes packed with an Easter Chocolate Puzzle, Chocolate Frog, 150-gram Chocolate Rooster, Chocolate Bunny, one uniform from the Shangri-La Fashion Collection and a traditional Hot Cross Bun.

3. Feast!

There’s the Easter Sunday brunch at The Waterfall, Shangri-La where families can relax over a Sunday brunch inspired by Mediterranean flavours. Premium seafood on ice and Easter specials take centre stage, like Devilled Eggs and Roasted Stuffed Veal Brisket. $128 (adult), $64 (child). Price includes a bottle of organic soda. Add Taittinger Champagne and herb-inspired cocktails for an additional fee. Bigger eaters may prefer the Easter Sunday Brunch at The Line, where both classical and seasonal dishes, such as Roasted Beef Prime Rib, Foie Gras Terrine with Roasted Figs and Colorado Lamb Rack with Herb Crust will be served. Kids will love the magnificent white chocolate fountain at the dessert station – of course!

Highlights of the buffet include the Pan-Fried Carrot Cake, Mee Tai Bak Goreng (thick rice noodles), Deep-Fried Banana Fritters, Roti Jala with Chicken Curry, Braised Pork Belly with Steamed Buns and Grilled Chicken Satay. Kids get to take part in the Easter egg hunt at 2pm, and enjoy activities such as egg painting, balloon sculpting and face painting from 3pm to 5pm at a supervised kid’s activity corner.
