Sentosa’s Port of Lost Wonder (P-O-L-W)

Ahoy landlocked lubbers! Come cast off at Singapore’s one and only kids’ club by the sea, the Port Of Lost Wonder.

Built at a cost of $13 million, this brand new Palawan Beach attraction is specially created for little Jack (and Jackie) Sparrows aged three to 10 years old.

There’s a magnificent pirate ship water-play area and shady spots to wash ashore upon for picnics. There’s even a foam pool for kids! At Curiousity Island, would-be pirates and Captain Hooks can meet and greet their feathered friends, find out if they have a green thumb, and learn traditional games.

Toddlers can play and roam freely in the Hatch Patch as older kids climb, glide, slide, and get wet and wild under the Pirate Ship. Need to cool down? Hide out at the Play Den to recharge for the funky P-O-L-W Boogie, which happens at the close of each day.

There’s much to learn while playing here. Math, for instance, as each child ticket comes with a bag of P-O-L-W currency called Curios that kids can use to redeem for games. Kids also get a Port Pass to collect stamps in as they take part in activities. Completed passbooks earn prizes!

Hungry? Drop anchor at the Port Belly restaurant for grub and grog (grilled sandwiches, pastas and pizzas). You can also bring your own catch (or buy a picnic package from the restaurant) and dine al fresco on the comfy cushioned decks at – ahem, The Deck.

Toilets and bath cubicles come with low half-doors and kid-sized sinks. And should anyone accidentally walk the plank, fret not, there’s a First Aid room on the premises.

So cast aside those worries and come to the Port Of Lost Wonder. Prepare to spend a minimum of three hours here, if not the whole day. Ready? All together now, say “Arrrrrr!”

Operating Hours

10am to 6.30pm (water play area closes at 6pm; thereafter P-O-L-W becomes a port for dining and relaxation)

Child Ticket Prices

$8 for weekdays (includes 50 Curios); $15 for weekends (includes 100 Curios) Accompanying adults enter free with a hug from the child. Usual island entry charges apply.
