Why Taobao is not allowed in Overseas spree?

Would like to check why Amazon is allowed in overseas spree and not Taobao? Both are similar in nature. Thanks.

i am curious too about this.. but maybe because taobao is a lot cheaper and more niched. but you could always go straight to their website

Maybe Taobao is still not that reliable compared to Amazon? I'm unsure too but like what @Geraldine Teo mentioned, you're still able to go to their website
