Hi mummies
I just went for parents teachers conference today and the teachers shared a concern with me. They mentioned that my 3.5 year old kid seems "obsessed" with numbers and they are quite concerned about it.
Indeed my child loves numbers and enjoys writing numbers 1 to 100 on papers from time to time and also recite the numbers when he is bored. Apart from that, he also has other interests such as reading English and Chinese books.
Thus, should I worry that he shows a particular interest towards numbers?i'm sure the teachers have their reasons for having this concern (though they didn't exactly elaborate). I do take what they say seriously after all they are experienced childhood educators.
Any advice?
