Muslim MTB?

lina, i'm a FTWM. s i'm stayin with my parents until my flat is ready, my mum looking after my son n my niece now. not sure if my mum can cope with another baby. right now she didnt says anything but can see its tiring n sometime stressful with 2 hyperactive tods. not sure want to employ a maid to help her or put my eldest son to childcare later.



any suggestions ladies?

poor thing send your son to cc if he is still young.

i second yasmin..if there is room then get a maid and send the maid together with your son to your mum's place so she can help your mum too.

MOM rule..maid can only work in 1 household based on her work permit...



having a maid will sure ease ur mom workload....

but having a good maid now does not come easy...



how old is ur 1st one?...putting in childcare also has it pros n cons....

 
hi ladies,

ya, i was a bit reluctant to send my 1st one in cc s wen i'm due, he will only be abt 18 mths old. then there's the worry of getting infected by other kids when they r sick. having a maid would be better s my mum will b around to supervise, just that the problem is there's no more room coz i've siblings in the house too.

18 mths is still quite young....my son had fits at CC ard that age...but alhamdullillah he has passed that '5 years fits free' period....



it left me with no choice but to employ a maid after that incident....



perhaps the maid can share a room with ur gal siblings?

 
Any trustable urut lady to recommend? Btw, i have these queries...

- How advance do i have to book them?

- How much do they usually charge?

- How frequent will they come to urut?

Salaams Mulishette, u can find many recommendations on urut ladies in the forum. One of them Is Mdm Ida, if not her sister, Mdm Mariam- 81337558.

Hi Aliza, My EDD is close to urs.. 9 May 2010. Am at Tampines. Also first pregnancy.. Am working mom but was recently hospitalized and in HL now.. so my boss not happy... and i think i'll be going on unpaid leave until after my maternity.. so i guess that would make me a temporary stay home mom soon..

Thanks for putting up the post on surahs for delivery. Been trying to look for surahs for delivery on the web. Hubby says zikir also helps.

ya zikir also helps a lot as it takes the mind away from the pain. the one thing i was told to kept on saying during delivery is what our prophet yunus (a.s) said when he was swallowed by the whale.its what our prophet (saw) advised us to say when we are in distress.

I dun plan to get one and I can't anyway. So it's either the laughing gas for me or a c sect under GA if things get complicated. Hopefully I cna give birth naturally....Insyaallah.

Visited the gynae yesterday. Alhamdullillah bb's doing fine. Doc was a bit worried that bb is of a lower birthweight. Looks like I have to munch even more.

Hi ladies, back again. Been bz n not feeling good. Tired easily n leg cramp often.



My boy just discharged from hospital due to cold sore (HSV Type1). Cant eat or drink n scared of dehydration. I've to take a swab test to make sure i'm not infected (genital herpes). S i'm due very soon, if positive, cant have normal delivery s not to pass virus to baby. Praying hard for negative result. So mummies, take precaution from my experience. Its a big headache. Keep telling myself, its a test for me n hubby. To think positively, it makes my hubby n i closer n spend more time if my boy.

Poor you. Must be difficult trying to juggle everything. I have a hard time with the housework now as it is without a toddler to handle. You hang in there and stay positive yeah. Relax and hopefully baby will stay cosy in there til closer to your due date. Regarding name...have picked a few but have not decided on which one yet.

I heard some mummies say good can relief back pain and leg swell.

 
I'm already 31 weeks and have yet to feel any back pain and leg swell. Although I do feel my right rib getting sore. Hopefully I wont experience them. Inysa allah.

Aliza, syukur u didnt feel any back pain or leg swell. During my 1st pregnancy i dun have much prob too but now wif my second, my back n pelvis ache most of the time especially at night. the back of my thigh too will start to cramp and ache even walking for a short distance. at times i wanted to stop walking but shy tat ppl look at me s if i'm goin to pop there n then. hehe...
