How to lose weight naturally and safely

Diet alone can make a huge difference.

1. Cut down on sugar drastically. Less than 5 teaspoons a day TOTAL inc. in Food and drinks.
2. Cut down on carbs like rice, bread etc. Eat minimal
3. Eat more protein to keep the stomach feeling fuller longer (so you snack less)
4. Spread your meals out if possible.. 5 small meals every 3 hours instead of 3 big meals every 5 hours.
5. The alternative to the above is to eat a HEAVY breakfast, a good lunch and eat a light dinner. (you burn the least calories at night)
6. Eat SLOWLY so that you feel full before you eat too much.

I lost 6 kgs in 6 months just doing the stuff up there. No exercise, no gym. (but have kids!) I'm now way healthier and even stronger. Just need more sleep. :-(
 


Hi ,let me share my story here. I managed to lose 4kg weight with bf and workout after confinement month. I have managed to wear back my pants that I am unable to wear before my pregnancy. And now I have get back to my body shape.

has anyone tried getting rid of cellulite? how much and how long does it take to see the results?

Yes is something like Herbalife but it's definitely not protein powder. It's main ingrdients are soy and lots of veges and fibers.

Hihi All, being away from this forum for a while, so while browsing, so hope to add some value here.

I put on 20kg when I gave birth to my 2nd boy in 2014 Oct.

But the problem is the sag sag tummy/ big tight and big hips is the most I dislike.
But glad I manage to find back my figure in 2015 and no re-bounce and even got a better shaping before my 2 birth after. 3 months program.
Eat thing is not much exercise needed.

If you intend to start any supplements, the recommended period would be 3mths. So that your body will generate the new cells and you will see the result gradually. ahh i see.. i've always been a little skeptical about taking supplements... i have friends whose weight rebound so bad after they stopped taking it.

I was on a yoyo diet, trying out all the supplements / miracle drugs there are just to lose a few kilos before dates/ parties/ events. I struggled w my weight for at least 10 years!
I finally changed my bad dieting habits, eliminate carbs, increase protein intake. And up your veg/ fruits intake. Drink water water water. Do NOT take soda! It's nothing but empty calories. I have a weakness for Coke, I never finish the whole can. I will pour out 1/3 before drinking.
I hated exercise, but now it's part of my lifestyle that I can't live without. I jog/ fast paced walk for about an hour every 3-4 times a week.
I snack on junk food too! As a matter of fact, I just finished a full pack of 90g butter cookies.... it's ok. I will just make a mental note that to eat healthier tmr.
My heaviest was at 68kg, I am 53kg now.

Yeah, it is so hard to avoid sugar in Singapore. Some places the milk tea have more sugar than Coke! :mad:

I think everything should be eaten in moderation to maintain a healthy body! Too much of everything, as healthy as it is, isn't good!
 
Hello Mummies, I see a lot of sales pitch here... I had my fair share of taking pills/ diet programmes before I was pregnant as my weight has been yoyo-ing all the while. Anyway, I gained 18kg from my pregnancy and 9 months later, I have lost 17kg! Just 1kg more to go before reaching my pre-preganancy weight. After confinement, I lost around 10kg after subtracting baby's weight. water weight. Didn't take any salt or sugar during my confinement. However the weight stuck around because I'm always so hungry during breastfeeding. Anyway after I stopped breastfeeding, I resumed exercising by going for aerobics classes/ jogging and also made dietary changes. I ate more vegetables, meat and swapped out rice... something like that. Slowly the weight goes down month by month... Yeahs, carbo is the most important during breastfeeding so I guess just do what you need to feed your baby. After breastfeeding stops, can slowly cut out and swap food groups for more protein and vegetables. Need to exercise intensively like... burn at least 300 cal per session then will start to see effect. Jia you mummies... don't throw away your pre pregnancy clothes to motivate yourselves. One day you will be able to wear back!

Hi! I’m only eat fruits and vege in first week and add in protein (meat) in second week onwards with fiber, probiotics and DE.. (my goal is for detox, to clear ages shit :p)

I’m really lazy to do exercise but only shake a bit (really a bit) at night while watching tv..

I lose about 3kg in 21days :D
