How do I change my username in the blankets to (Jenny). Currently it reflects Jenny(snowpooher) instead of Jenny(Jenny).
 
Hi Jenny,

The username in the brackets can't be changed but you can change to "snowpooher (snowpooher)" instead of "Jenny (Jenny)" as the name in the brackets are your unique user/login name.

The threads here are mostly arranged in alphabetical order. Only the threads in "Marketplace and Exchange Corner" are arranged in chronological order. We are sorry that the thread orders here can't be changed according to user preferences.

Please feel free to let us know why you would prefer the threads to be arranged by date instead of alphabetical order? If you would like to check on the newest postings, it can simply be found by clicking the Last 12|24|72 hours link available on both the top and bottom of the forum navigation bar.

You should have a program "Paint" installed in your system.

1. Click on Start-> All Programs-> Accessories-> Paint

2. Open the file you would like to resize

3. Press "Ctrl W"

4. Resize your image by reducing the horizontal and vertical stretch equally.

Ah! That one! Thanks for pointing out the "Enable HTML code in message" checkbox. My apologies for not realising it. I thought that you were referring to a function in the user profile.

The "Enable HTML code in message" when checked, allows only basic HTML tags, such as bold, italics, links, and colors, are converted into the forum's formatting tags. This is done to ensure valid basic HTML formatting tags in the post can be used and at the same time protecting the board against malicious JavaScript, SSIs, META tags, etc.

i am trying to add a ticker when i post messages but how come the html code appears always and not the ticker? i saw that other users can post leh. can help? btw, i did enable html code in the message.

I don't think tickers can be posted in the messages here. However, if you do come across any messages in the forum which has tickers, please feel free to direct me to the message and I'll take a look and let you know how it was done by the other users.

The tickers were static and would not be updated. That's why the tickers were not clickable like the normal ones. I believe what some users did were to save the tickers as images and attached them as part of the message.

Typically, a message can only be removed within 30 minutes after posting. After that, the originator will need to send an e-mail to the moderator to request for the removal.
