Hi, I'm looking for a good, patient and child-loving swimming instructor to teach my girl who is 7 yo in our condo pool (Upp Bukit Timah).

Hi. Swimming lesson are conducted @ HomeTeams @ Bt Batok West (near driving centre) for public (member + non-member all welcome). Can check with them www.fit.com.sg. This is the coy tt provides the Swimming coaches.

I know of a swim coach that teaches toddlers from 15 months onwards. He specialises in special needs kids like autism.
 
Anyone care to share what are the benefits of letting your infant or toddler learn swimming at an early stage? Just hoping to hear some advise.
 
I am looking to form a group for young toddlers swimming lessons.

Preferred location: Toa Payoh Safra
Day: Weekdays (except Tuesdays)
Time: 4pm or 5pm (to be confirmed)
Duration: 30mins (once a week)
Fee: > $60 (depending nos. of students)

has 16 years of lifesaving and coaching experience behind him, his passion for coaching has only grown stronger over the years. Besides being a certified swimming coach with Singapore Sports Council, Alvin is also a AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant from Australia. He has attained more than the minimum requirements of a local swimming coach. He is aspiring and constantly seeking to heighten knowledge and skills through appropriate courses such as latest development of swimming techniques, stroke correction, class management, motivation, lifesaving, first aid, nutrition and general sport science arenas. This way, he can impart more effective knowledge and skills to the younger ones.

My son is 7 yrs old and when i told him I have registered him for swimming lessons. He cried and cried and refused to go for the class. I think he is scared of water. Any coach here can provide me some advice? I need one with lots of patience.

Swimming is an essential skill for young children. You can do no better service to your children than to teach them to swim and let them get used to the water in their own swimming pool.

Hi, my swimming instructor is teaching my 4 yr old, he has a way with kids even kids who are playful, or afraid of water. He is teaching my niece with special needs & teaching a fren whose son is ADHD. Pls pm for more details!

my girl's previous instructor is a very caring man who can be strict when necessary.

My girl learned from him since 3 years plus.

He is based in SengKang and Tampines.
On sunday mornings he teaches at Jalan Besar Pool.

Reason why we stopped learning from him: My girl is good enough for club training...(she is in K2 this year and has been selected to join junior team in a good swim club).
