wendy, it is true i think. if they cant tell you the gender at 16 weeks, then probably it is a girl. they will tell you when you are 20 weeks and confirmed.

@little_bb WOW! 14 weeks can tell already? Ok i am going to see my gynae next week (week 16), gonna pester her to tell me. I guess if she say not sure means it is a girl already. I was also told by alot of friends that boys can tell earlier.

How many weeks can confirm the gender? when i had #1, my gynae said only at 20 weeks can tell. but seems like so many people already can tell their baby's gender!
