    November 2017 Mummies

For those mummies already well into their 2nd trimester, have you experienced taking the mrt and people giving up their seats for you? I haven't been given seats yet but I'm also shy to confront someone seating in the pwd/preggo/elderly seat. But what's so annoying what happened last week when...

    November 2017 Mummies

I managed to research those "additional" fees in TMC compared to Mt.A. TMC is either more restrictive on timing or has an add on fee. These includes items such as ctg monitoring (beyond 7 hrs), operating theatre fees, bed sheets & pain relief items. My doctor confirmed though that fees between...

    November 2017 Mummies

My doctor is from TMC and is performing my operation there. Also can in Mt.A but less comfortable. I understand rates are not much different between the 2 but I've read a lot about the hidden charges in TMC. Can someone kindly advise if the hidden charges are enough for me to backout & turn to...

    Gender reveal party

You are right. Might be tedious for guests and for us parents too - gender party, baby shower, 1 month, 1 yr... hahaha. So I'm also having reservations. Right now, we still dont have the gender but we're inclined to make a super small & simple meet up with close friends as gender reveal. Let's...

How to log a complaint against a clinic?

Have you ever been treated badly by the clinic admin? Do you guys know how I can log a complaint against a clinic if it does not involve a doctor? Actually, it is the one assisting in the reception. I checked MOH site and I can only log complains for doctors, dentists or nurses.

    Gender reveal party

Have any of you organized or are planning a gender reveal party? Or do you just plan to make one celebration, which is the baby shower? I might learn about my baby's gender during my check up this week but I am doubting if it is safe to organize a little get together early on. Im on my 15th...

Safety wise, check with the doctor. Travel wise, most airlines prohibit travel only if beyond 34 or 35 weeks. I've checked and different airlines have different requirements. Some require doctor certificate starting 32 weeks. Others ask you to fill up a form, even with no certificate.

    Mt. A or TMC?

Hello, first time mom here. I've been comparing maternity packages of these 2. Quite confusing because as per MOH site, Mt. A is more expensive but if I check individual websites of the 2 hospitals, TMC is more expensive. My doctor delivers in TMC only but Im having thoughts on switching (good...

    Maternity Pillow - Snoogle

I recently started my 2nd trimester and I feel that I've also started to get so uncomfortable while lying down. I've searched on this Snoogle by Leachco. Do you guys know if there is a store that carries this item/brand? My last resort would be Amazon. Thanks in advance!

    Maternity wear for Plus size?

Exactly the advice I was looking for. First time mum here. And before pregnancy & normally having 12-14 size (14 only on bottoms), ordinary local stores already have no biggie sizes for me. So imagine the relief when I saw this post. Thanks :)

Anyone feel hungry during 1st tristmier

I'm currently at 11 weeks. There are times that I do feel hungry but I really just dont have the appetite to eat. It's definitely an unexplainable feeling hehe. But so far, I'm too sensitive on smells of food especially deep fried meats.

    November 2017 Mummies

That's exactly what I'm going through. I dont remember to have had dreams for like a couple of years already, until now. 3 or 4 times a week, I also wake up in the middle of the night (3:30 am) and cant sleep until 6am. I understand it's because of the surge of hormones that we have.

    November 2017 Mummies

My doctor actually advised me to start to eat seafood for DHA, brain development of the baby once I enter 2nd trimester (2 wks from now). I understand it is ok as long as it is cooked well enough and it is not one of those fishes known to be high in mercury.

    November 2017 Mummies

First time mum here and midway through my 11th week. Had my ultrasound yest and saw the baby with legs & arms already - the feeling is so overwhelming. Haven't gained weight but I am terribly terribly constipated [emoji31]. I feel that some weight is added by poop that wont come out lol...
