Just take probiotic supplements, works wonders. It kind of rejuvenates the gastrointestinal system by putting back good bacteria in your body. Imagine a Yakult, but stronger. Baby formula milk also contains probiotics. It can also boost your immunity and prevent unrinary infections.

Hi pinnpinn, I am from the August mummies group. Pregnancy causes the gastro function to slow down so food digest slower to let the baby absorb better. Sometimes the vomiting is not caused by MS but indigestion. If you feel like too much acid try using antacids when necessary. Try taking...

All harmony test will be sent to US lab if I remember from my Gynae. My doctor quoted 1.9k which may already be on the high side given that he is also fann wong's gynae. 3k is too much.

All the people I know who got pregnant, speak as if pregnancy is very blissful. I mean I totally do not feel the same as them. I told my mum and my husband firmly, I don't want to have another kid. They were understanding, cos they saw how I was suffering. I don't think I got pregnant at first...

Don't feel guilty. It is your life. You decide what you want. When I decided to only have 1 child. Everyone fired like machine gun. The usual nonsense. But I just snapped back, "if you guys want 1 more, go give birth yourself." I won't get pregnant again, even if I were to want another child, I...

Don't take too much, really. Too much vitamins can cause intoxication. Your body cannot function like normal. I have plenty of prenatal vitamins but not all are suitable for my body. I am cutting back to fish oil (DHA) and calcium. Even then I don't take everyday. As for multivits, I take the...

Thanks ladies for the support. I think I am beginning to feel fine. Hopefully. Not sure if it helps but I took probiotics, which puts back the good bacteria into my stomach which I have vommitted out. Digestion seems to be working better, I don't feel pukey after meals. But still don't over eat.

Actually I experienced the opposite which is also equally irritating. I have been slim so nobody says I'm fat. But slim also got problem. Some people tell me I must eat when I was suffering from MS and tell me how not eating is bad for my baby and I am irresponsible. It was depressing. Then even...

Hi Piggling, I sympathize with you. MS is really something that can drain you out. I am suffering from MS too. My nausea meds don't really work. Have been fighting to find remedies that really work to solve the core problem. There are 2 kinds of feeling before you vomit. 1. Acid Reflux - Too...

Hi Mtb, It would be comforting to know that I am not the only one suffering. I was plagued by morning sickness since week 6 and it's been going on until now at 12. It is so tiring. So sick of being sick. I use to have a very upbeat lifestyle, worked out a lot, travelled a lot, shop a lot...

I feel like going anywhere is a chore. I am worried that there isn't a bed when I really need one during CNY. I still have MS, like a time bomb, I have one good day then the next is unimaginable. Seems never ending. Kind of mentally drained by the ups and downs.

You can do that with an advance blood test somewhat like the Oscar Test. Your blood will be sent over to lab in USA. It is meant to scan for advance genetic problems but that can tell baby's sex with certainty at 10 weeks. Cost about $1900.

You will smell a fishy ordor when you burp in the next few hours. Apparently, it is good for your babies brain development cos of DHA. If you feel unwell, don't take so much. Our parents didn't have all these modern day supplements, medicine wasn't so advance but most of us turned out fine.
