Cordlife or Stemcord or do nothing?

Yup the extraction of dental pulp. Very limited stem cells from there... so no point. Richest source of stem cells still come from our babies' cord blood and the most pure cos it's from Day 0.

anybody can refer me for cord blood banking?

Hmmm from my limited knowledge, transplants don't have the luxury of using half dosage... Doctors don't dare to take the risk too. If yes then the world donation banks would all store in multiple bags to avail more people to seek help from, then they can probably earn more from each sale of each...

    September 2016 Mummies!

It's payable by CDA and upfront plus annual fees only $300+, cheaper than insurance I must say. For something of this technology and the potential, totally worthwhile. Furthermore, recently there were some news on babies using their siblings cord blood for deadly illnesses. If financials allow...

    Year 2016 IVF Mummy To-Be

Try talking to Cordlife, they really are more professional in the way they conduct their sales... Unlike another company i spoke to, so pushy and used rolex vs swatch to compare the companies, i'm like Har?? Medical healthcare companies should have certain standards la......

    Year 2016 IVF Mummy To-Be

Yup, i did some research on this too... If the child has a genetic condition, usually the doctor won't wanna risk. But i see alot of environmentally triggered diseases nowadays too, and that it's more of a peace of mind that i do it... When i did it for my first child, i feel obliged to do for...

    Year 2016 IVF Mummy To-Be

Yup, agree with you.... For all my friends who have stored cord blood, including myself for my first child, we have not had any contamination cases though. Anyway i rather the company be truthful to me than to bluff me that it is suitable and continue storing and continue charging me... Imagine...

Review on Dr John Yam Gleneagles

I think generally if it is vaginal delivery and no forceps were used, the wound is quite ok. Mine was ok and i remembered me telling him to sew nicely immediately after my delivery, haha. The wound is not very painful as there will be some painkillers. The painkillers are also for managing the...

    Year 2016 IVF Mummy To-Be

Had this question in mind when i banked my first child's blood too. Asked the donation bank and they have a high minimum to fulfill, same as blood donation where certain criteria has to be fulfilled... However, family banks do have to inform if the cells aren't sufficient. After all, there are...

On the other hand, i had quite a good experience on cord blood banking, except that the nurses did not managed to draw enough of my blood and poked me twice... By the way, i don't think the banks charge anymore admin fee now. Am enquiring for my second child now.
