I know the pain ... I had a mc with no heartbeat at wk 10 last year. How many weeks are you at now? Did you conceive via natural or ivf? If it's ivf maybe can do The genetic screening.
Take care n slowly allow your heart to heal.

Babe, don't be sad. You are not alone. Give yourself some time to recover then start again. I had 2 ectopic pregnancies and 1 mc, since 2013 I'm pregnant every year but never able to hold my baby on hand.
Yet, I'm still not giving up. I have faith that one day my time will come.

Just Ensure you eat well to recover your body before you start again.

Take care.

i'm under thh, stick with him, he is good, his stitching skills r good as reviews said. and he does deliveries only for B1 and A ward.

Hi. All mommies.
I'm Japanese and 1st pregnant woman who live in Singapore. my english is soso only. Please advise me. I tested positive few days ago. Now my concern is which gynae is better for cost and hospitality? and how to get prenatal milk in singapore? Because I'm still new to singapore. Thank you so much and congratulations to all.
Hi Yurih, Congrats on your pregnancy. I am a first time mom and i deliver at Mt Alvernia. Its actually a Private Charity Hospital. The staff are all friendly and my stay was good.

Another hospital is the Thomson Hospital.

As for the preganancy Milk, you can easily get them from any supermarket, or you can order online too.

I used Frisomum, and my son also uses Friso gols all the way.

You can check it here.

Hi all. If anyone else know the good doctor recommendation for me at Gleneagles Medical Centre? Because 32 specialist gynaes are listed on website, furthermore this is my first time gynae. That's why If you have any recommendations, please share with me. My concern is costwise. I won't mind to go other places. Thank you.

Hi Yurih,

My sister delivers at Gleaneagles, she has a very good dr. I will get back to you once i get the details.

I deliver at Mt Alvernia, my gynae is good too but his clinic is way off from the city, its at Admiralty. So i think that would not be a good choice for you.

Hello,

Im not an expert hehehe.. but i believe maternity milk are more formulated to our needs during pregnancy and for the well being of our child.

Maybe just like taking certain supplements during pregancy, like we need to take in more folic acid..

If you want to lean more you can check out this link. Its very informative from pregnancy up to when our baby is growing up.

Whats amc ah? Ermmmm but the letter hand written some words that say dr thh will do the scan personally. So i am not too sure too.
thh will review u. if u look at the stack of letter, first page there is one which ask u to report to AMC, the ultrasound centre. r u not being briefed by the nurse when u collect the papers?

Hi All,
I just tested positive last week after 3days late of period. Still dun know when is My EDD prolly around November. Will be going to gynae mid of April ^^

Hi all, my EDD is 2 Nov based on my first ultrasound. Based on online due date calculator the EDD was 28 Oct but based on bb size, my pregnancy length got knocked back by almost 1 week. Now I'm at at 8 weeks 5 days. Going for the panorama test at end-April at the end of my first trimester. Battling nausea and heartburn now while working and studying part-time, trying to stay positive :) I am allergic to my colleague's perfume and the toilet's air freshener and have to constantly sniff coffee powder to neutralise the smells. I could not tell anyone yet because I have yet to cross my 1st trimester...

Hello all, I'm new here, tested positive on 3rd march. This is my first preg and would like to check around if anyone experienced hair loss in first trimester? I thought hair loss will only happen after delivery

Hi all, i am really excited! 1st baby! My edd 1st nov. just had a scan today with my gynae. Everything good. Saw heartbeat . My Friend recommended me to the gynae. Dr e k Tan, previously NUH, now at mt E. any advice where I should deliver? My gynae delivers at mt a and mt e.

hi fellow mummies! congratulations & may this journey be smooth for all of us! :)

first time mtb here.. tested 3 times on the stick and it shows that i am 2-3weeks positive.
called kkh to book appmt with a preferred gynae but the earliest i could see her is on 28th august.

the lady on the phone told me to go poly, get a referral and do all the tests required before seeing my gynae.
i am actually worried to have different doctors handling my case till august since i heard alot of -ve stories @ the subsidized area.

1) is it a bit too late to see a gynae at the 24th/25th week
2) has anyone experience going thru this route? subsidized and then private? please share!

thank u!

Hi and congrats to all!

Im a first time mommy. Just tested positive over the weekend and went for an ultrasound on monday. Was quite a magical moment to see the little black ball on the screen. The doc advised against getting bitten by mozzies. Anyone have any insect repellent to recommend. Most i know come with a strong lemongrass smell. Haha now i worry about how to be discreet about the pregnancy during the first tri. Any recommendations?

Btw, saw from the chain that some are going to dr claudine tan. Im planning to go to her too as her clinic is near me and i have read good reviews. Now im worried about her being on hol as my edd based on an online app is going to be end nov.

Hi! Congrats!

My wife is expecting too. It's her first pregnancy and we are planning to go down that route as suggested by the KKH lady. Our first subsidised appointment will be on Monday 3rd April. We already made an appt with our obgyn of choice @ KKH and she's only available on 17th Aug. So up till that date we'll pay as a subsidised patient.

We think that it's ok to go down that route as the checkup will be mainly height/weight check, taking samples etc. We don't see any justifying reason to pay a higher price just for those checks. I hope i'm not wrong but can any other mums who went in as subsidised patients confirm if the ultrasound and other diagnostic imaging procedures are charged at subsidised rates too?

(Couldn't find a Singapore Fatherhood forum, had to camp here and read all these different opinions so I can share it with my wife, she's super tired after work lately, so i do all the reading that i can and share it with her lolol)

Hi congrats. Actually I m August mummy . just wanted to answer ur questions. There are some tests need to require to do at specific week at kkh. At week 12-13, need to do 1st trimester screening (down syndrome) . at week 20, need to do detailed scan for baby. At week 28-29 need to do glucose test. So other duty doc will see you for review if ur preferred doc not available for all those tests. So u need to double check with nurse for subsidy rates. And I suggest u to go ultrasound at week7-8 for pregnancy visuality and confirmed baby heartbeat.
