Hi hi! This is my first fresh cycle and I'm feeling Super anxious. Hubby and me are in standby mode for our menses to come. But apparently my menses has not arrive yet.Hi Jill.... Yes! I starting my 2nd fresh in Feb!

Personally, I think she is a good TCM doctor. Specialised in fertility, knows her stuff, patient and assuring. Her staff are all very helpful too. I've seen her for a year now, and feel my general health and cycle been better. Starting my first fresh IVF next Monday

Im new in this group. Just a short intro of myself, I have been trying to conceive for 6 years and now decided to go for an IVF. Have went to polyclinic for a referral to KKH and my 1st appointment will be this coming Wednesday.
Can you girls share with me the the total cost and the subsided? I also heard that we can also use our medisave for the charges.

I get them from the Far East flora garden at Thomson or the gardens at Kovan.
Some ntuc finest or xtra does sell.. Sweet basil in small pot.. I bought mine from amk ntuc. Cold storage vivo also sell...
I think the cost is dependent on the medication you get . Govt will subsidise 75% up to 6k and we can use 6k of Medisave . Rest will be cash .. before you undergo the ivf process, there will be financial Counselling as well .

I also same with you, Trying for 8yrs. I going for 2nd appointment next month. But before that I need to do ultrasound pelvis and HSG test first. Good luck for both of us

I feel she is no gd! Last fet i went for her for accupuncture.. den during my second scan my lining only 7mm she told me no hope le.. ask me abandon tat cycle.. make me feel more stress and i jus cry in her clinic

dun get too affected by wat she said bah...
the recent fet, i dun have good lining as well, it was like 4mm
i went to dr albert at marine parade for accupuncture, after a week, i manage to get my lining to 7mm. then my dr said following week then do trsf so i have another week to continue accupuncture so by the time i do my fet, probably more than 7mm..

Its pretty common to be given gonalF for ivf stimulation and when ur leading follicles are of good siZe the dr will add in cetrotide to ensure the leading follicles dont ovulate while growing the rest of the smaller follicles to increase the yield of good size follicles to be extracted. But i am not aware starting gonalF together with cetrotide from day 1 of the stims.

Hi Ladies, finally I get over with the disappointment of my bfn.. 3rd bt at 0 after I start to have light bleeding for almost a week..
Going for my next appoitment next week to see the findings of my bfn and schedule for my fet..

.. Got the devastating news yest.. bfn.. =(... I am also going for doc review yest week to discuss abt the fet. Has anyone gone thru fet in nuh?any idea how long do we need to wait before we can do fet? Fet also have hosp leave?
Thanks daylesford. I was to jab cetrotide on yesterday as a start, and for a total of 3 days then tmr prob switching to gonal F to stimulate. Then after think should go according to your script above

Hi everyone! I was supposed to do medicated FET this cycle but had to cancel the cycle today as none of my three (D2) embryos survived the thaw. Will be stopping Progynova and Utrogestan from today. Any idea how many days would it take for the periods to start after stopping the medication? Thanks!

Can I check for the self jab injection, does it comes with an ampoule form that we have to break it?
For the usual scanning, are we able to request for whole day Medical Leave?
Understand that the doctor's name and Dept of reproductive medicine will be stated in the medical leave & hospital leave slip.

Im scheduled for medicated fet once menses come.problem is now...i just done hysteroscopy 2weeks back with 2-3 days bleeding.And now menses came as per regular date monthly. Does that mean i bleed twice? Anyone experience such before.Fyi i have yet to see dr for my post hysteroscopy review...should i call kkivf centre to get some enlightenment or call clinic D itself?

Dear sisters,
I am back after six months of break (TTC naturally of course, yet no miracle!) since last FET in Aug 2016. Read few latest pages of thread and saw new and some familiar nicknames. You may read my past IVF history above, which I replied through the last update.
I am turning 37 this year. Left with ten D2 embryos since ER in Mar last year. Our plan is to have another fresh cycle in Malaysia, after considering a FET here costs about S$3K (at Thomson Fertility Centre) VS about RM12K-15K for a fresh cycle in Malaysia. And I can have a few more chances of FETs there which costs about RM2K. According to an embryologist I met today, our eggs quality will drop significantly around the age of 37. This made me more anxious and thinking to retrieve more quality (at least of better) eggs before it is too late. Feeling so moody whenever thinking about this no-solution issue...
Just hope and pray for a BIG FAT POSITIVE in 2017! Here I wish all fighting sisters achieve our bb dreams and have a smooth pregnancy till we meet our little ones in our arms! Hwaiting...
The injection gonal F is a pen like injection, just need to fit the needle into the pen, poke den inject.
The other one is a stringe type.
I was given mc today and the mc was just from KK hosp.
Just did my second shots.. few questions:
-how do you know if you are on a long/short cycle? Is there any reason why one is given long/short cycle?
-is there anything that i should avoid eating at the stimm stage? I see you all mention eggs, can u eat my soft boiled eggs now?

Hi sharkles, avoid soft boiled eggs or any raw stuff due to risk of bacteria in general. But do eat lots of cooked egg whites and other high protein food.
Usually doc start with short cycle. Think they only recommend Long cycle if u have Low egg reserves to begin with. It's stated on the ToP right corner of your stim form whether u r on Long or short cycle. Antagonist means short.
Hope this helps!
Or if they already know you are a poor responder fr previous failed cycles, they may switch you to Long cycle. So first cycle usually short to test your response to the stim drugs.
