How to remove stretchmark? Which product is better?

Hi Mummies,

I Highly recommend this product " Lierac" Phytolastil. My stretch mark was terrible after I give birth... saw this in one of the magazine so took it a try. and it really work...! the stretch mark are lighter... pls don't expect it to disappear =)
it's sold in watson/ guardian.

Cheers.

Actually stretch marks are hereditary. If your mum have it, you will too. But if she do not have, you will be very safe. I know cos my cousin who is a doctor told me and i believe cos i saw from all my relatives, and my own mum. So i did not put anything at all and i got nothing cos my mum do not have too. I think even if you ask your Gynae, they will tell you the same too.

Hi mummies,

I used clarins oil & stretch mark control during my pregnancy & did not have any stretch mark at all on those area that I applied. However did not apply on my thighs so now have only on my thighs.

I heard so much goodies about the Clarins oil that I went to bought it 1 month ago to try on. Before that I am using Mustela Double Action Stretch Cream.
I applied faithfully everyday twice for the oil and stretch cream always. But i guess I probably belongs to the inheritance of stretch marks that the fact my mother and sisters also has stretch marks. My stretch marks still exist and develop more as my tummy stretches on.

I envy those mummies who doesnt have any stretch marks at all...so good. I see mine is like upsetting. Sigh...

the elancyl brand does not seem to work that well for me. it is a prevention cream so you have to start applying the cream to stretchmark prone areas very early in your pregnancy e.g. latest at the beginning of 2nd trimester onwards..

I think stretch marks are hereditary. The cream/oil will only fade but not completely remove them. Anyone tried surgical methods and worked? Care to share?

Got mustela double action stretch mark cream - 1 unopened n 1 opened used once for sale. Can't stand the smell now strangely after they change fragrance due to 2nd pregnancy.

Bought at trade shows, more discount off retail price! Pls PM or email me at [email protected]

Jojoba oil is also something that you should be able to find in a good firming lotion as it is found out to deeply moisturize the skin, effectively erasing stretch marks and wrinkles.

Hi mummies,

Just want to share that Floxia Paris has quite good anti-stretchmark cream. I have tried using other brands but still ended with a lot of stretchmark esp thighs :( . Recently my hubby bought me Floxia Paris restructuring cream, the stretchmarks lighten quite a lot. It is quite ex, usual retail price is $56 nowadays. But if buy in bulk, can get discount and buy @49.90. So if anyone interested to share, let me know cos i am intending to get a few more :)

I use pure Vit E oil, a lot of diff brands in the market for pure Vit E oil. Vit E oil is supposed to lighten marks. I guess not putting too much weight in a short period of time also helps. After my 1st preg, I also religiously use body scrubs to lighten the marks on my body.

I used dermelastic serum every day when I was pregnant. I have 2 kids and used it both times. dermelastic serum works wonders because even after 2 pregnancies, I have absolutely NO stretch marks! I am a firm believer in dermelastic and highly recommend this to ANY mom-to-be!

Dermalmd Stretch Mark Cream is the only cosmetic/beauty product that I continuously buy. I've been using Dermalmd Stretch Mark Cream for at least 10 years now and I continue to do so. It leaves my skin feeling great, it helped so much with my stretch marks and scars, you don't see results over-night but certainly as time goes on, it makes a huge difference. You can barely notice my stretch marks now, some of them I feel have vanished completely.

hi all, there is hope!! I am using Home Galvanic Treatment for stretch marks and loose skin on tummy. body spa stretch mark.jpg

This is the result after use. It is effective and simple to use. 5 mins each time. Fast and easy for mummies. Pm if u need more info on how it works. =)

I got a lot of stretch marks during my pregnancy, especially on the tops of my upper thighs and I didn't wanna spend a ton of money on a stretch mark cream when I've heard they don't work, so I decided to try Dermalmd brand since I use their foaming cleanser and their moisturizer and I'm in love with those products. Well after using dermalmd stretch mark serum for a week (twice a day, everyday) my stretch marks on my thighs have faded and also aren't as deep. I do recommend a derma-roller as well, but even after using dermalmd stretch mark serum without the roller for 3 days, I noticed a difference. It's not sticky, or super oily, and no weird smell.

The serum is just amazing, and a perfect remedy for stretchy skin. I still have noticed marks getting lighter, but would recommend it 100% for anyone who combats stretchy skin.the serum called dermalmd

Dermelastic serum helped minimize the redness of some of my stretch marks. You must apply it religiously for it to work better as I would only apply it once a day after I showered at night most of the time.
I am personally a user of emu oil for my rash and scars for many years. Read many reviews that it is effective for stretchmarks. Has anyone tried it before?

Use virgin coconut oil (cold pressed in liquid form). Best natural stretch mark cure. Cheap and excellent.

Honestly all the products in SG mkt are overly priced.

I've had strech marks with my last 2 pregnancies but no new ones in this pregnancy thanks to dermelastic serum!!! my old ones are also fading slightly, my skin feels super nourished and I don't ever get itchy on my belly.

Hi Ladies,

I just noticed that I got stretchmarks at my lower tummy... red ones... Any idea what I can apply to remove them during and after pregnancy?

Some ladies recommended the following products, anyone use before? Are they effective to get rid or fade the stretch marks?

- Elancyl Stretchmark Concentrate
- Clarins Stretch Mark Control
- Bio-oil

Thanks a lot!

Hi

I used to use Elancyl Stretchmark and it help during my 1st pregnancy. But during my last pregnancy, used Pentaxyl instead and seem to help to reduce my stretch marks more as compare to Elancyl.

Hi,
Can I know where to buy the dermal s stretch mark serum in Singapore?

Thanks

Well, you can use many products that include Organic ingredients. I personally use the products of The Spoiled Mama. Because their products are approved by OBGYN. And many skincare specialists recommended their products.

As soon as I discovered my first set of pregnancy stretch marks everyone told me about stretch mark removal dermalmd cream! I have been using it for 6 weeks and my stretch marks went from dark purple to light purple - you can barley see them! The smell is sooo good and it stays on your skin for a while!

Try seeing a professional for laser treatments. I got stretchmarks on my arms and behind my legs coz of weight loss and I've tried shea butter and other creams to help remove them but no success. They did lighten on their own though. I'm lucky I have light complexion so the stretchmarks are somewhat not noticeable. Recently I did laser at Mt E with Dr Leo Kah Woon and my stretchmarks have faded a lot more. So if you want a quick solution to stretchmarks, I do recommend seeing a professional.

Ive been using clarins throughout my pregnancy and got no stretchmarks at all. partly genetics too i think. But, I got stretchmarks all over my breasts because of the drastic increase in size due to breastfeeding. anyone experienced the same thing and how do you manage to clear it? or will they disappear on its own?
