FREE Used Textbooks for Primary and Secondary School on 11Dec

Dearest all needy mummies,

Good news! NTUC will organize their community event "Share-A-Textbook Day" for public to pick up pre-loved Primary/Secondary school textbooks on 11 December 2016 at any of the five distribution centers below:

9am – 6pm
City Square Mall
Changi City Point
Warehouse Club

9am – 3pm
Gan Eng Seng School
Yio Chu Kang Secondary School

You are encouraged to bring your own carrier bags for the event. All the left over books will be recycled, hence all the parents are welcome to pick up these books.

PS/ I share this info as I hope to beneficial all needy mothers. Please only pick up the books for our own consumptions but not using them for additional profit or income as they are mainly donated for needy kids, we should considerate to others. Thanks for your kindness!

I missed the deadline to donate used textbooks. Do u know if they will still accept on 11dec?

My suggestion is to post it here coz yr books are useful to some needy kids and mums who missed out the distribution day on this Sun

Otherwise, I think you still can bring them to the distribution centre this Sun, you just need to see whether many left over books under the same category from your books. If yes, don't donate them and post it here more helpful.

These preloved textbooks are not totally meant for the needy (the needy was given the priority to collect them before the general public). Fairprice is promoting recycling, value of thrift & relieve financial burden. Thus, anyone; rich or poor, are welcome.
