hi, hope some of u can help.
It's my 2nd pregnancy and 1st was born at 37 weeks.
This pregnancy, my work involves a lot of standing and my cervix was 3.1cm at 22 weeks. At about 27 weeks, it shortened to 2.6cm!
But, my doc said above 2.5cm is fine and did not give further instruction knowing that I stand a lot for my work. He gave me 1 week mc n check again. i asked for it to be changed to hospital leave as in my co, we are encouraged to take max 3 mcs per year.

Anyone know if 2.6cm at 27 weeks is ok?
And i heard gynaes can give hospitalisation leave?
Any other gynae to recommend as i dont feel confident of mine.

Thanks!

Yes, above 2.5cm is the bare minimum. But as long as u have signs of cervical shortening, you should no longer be standing. By now you should be over 30 weeks, hope u are already on pelvic rest. Best wishes.
