Unfortunately yes it could happen. The body is geared and giving signs of ovulation (where OPK can pick up), but the only way to confirm that it did really happen is by bbt or doc scan.

Since you've just started opking, you may need another 2-3 cycles to see a pattern. If every month chart is similar , perhaps seeing a gynae may be of help.

Hey babe, it's not rise in temp means ovulation? It's dip instead??? I read online say rise leh.

It seems like once there is a dip which signals that ovulation is near, this is followed by a rise:
http://blog.kindara.com/blog/fertility-charting-myths-ovulation-dip

Saw my Gynae yesterday and he told me bbt is more of a way for us to understand our body better. Not 100% accurate to pinpoint ovulation. Best is OPK or going for scan at the right time in your cycle.

Hi Ladies,

I was active here almost 3 years ago. I learnt a lot from the information shared here. I have been TTC-ing for almost 3 years and even recently fixed an appointment with a fertility clinic. Finally, i got to see my double line 3 days ago. I am super happy and still feeling it is so unreal.

I just want to say to the ladies here, please don't give up. Do what ever you can to improve your health. I started off very diligently temping every morning, testing for my O days, seducing my hb to do the deed on the golden window period. Seen some TCM doctors too. As time goes, I feel tired and have many time i wanted to give up. It is a tough journey, plus social stigma that we have to face is also adding on to the pressure. Due to one incident, I was tested with iron deficiency in Oct 2015 and since then i have been focusing on improving my health. I guess by doing so, i manage to get pregnant.

The symptoms i have now are still quite manageable. Sore and tender boobs, drinking alot, feel very hungry before my usual meal time, mild cramps a few times a day. First sign i got was that i did not have any spotting. I usually will have spotting a few days before my AF. My temp spike on the day of AF that is suppose to come. My boob will usual get less sore 1 or 2 days when AF is coming, but this time it remain very sore.

Hope this gives encouragement to everyone here! Fighting!

Hmm I got my spike these few days though. And temperatures keep rising after ovulation, is this normal?

Did you also observe your mucus texture and colour during the days where your BBT is higher or when there is smiley face on the OPK?

When you tummy feels sore, it's likely the baby is growing! All the best!

Hi anyone with TSB who has adenomyosis condition TTC? Would like to ask whether she gives herbs that can help to curb growth of adenomyo and TTC. Or she prescribe is for generally TTC but doesn't aim the adenomyo condition?

Hi all... am quite new here so pardon any noob questions. I attempted to back read but there is alot of post so.. i kinda gave up.

I am diagnosed with PCOS for the longest time ever. I din do anything about it until i was dating, i took bcp to regulate my AF. Last year, i stopped bcp but wasnt actively ttc until early this year. Made an appt to see a gynae in Mar and was given some medication to take for AF to come and ovulation. Did a blood test on Monday and my review with the gynae on Friday wasnt that good. Gynae told me to go fertility clinic and do ivf.

I dont know if he was trying to save me the money or just providing the quickest option for me to conceive but the idea of ivf scares me. Needles? Procedures? Etc... while its heartening to hear positive stories of how pcos patients can conceive naturally, i cant help but feel my pcos must be quite jialat that i need to do ivf.

I had a cyst removal last 2014 in my ovary and the gynae did ovarian drilling. But i wasnt actively ttc so i did not follow up much. Now that i am considering a visit to fertility clinic, i have some queries.

1) for someone like me suffering from pcos with irregular af, how can i monitor my ovulation period? I assume ovulation period is the golden window for bd?

2) other than visiting a fertility clinic and considering IUI/IVF options and seeking their treatment course, what other methods or option will help improve the chance? I have heard of tcm treatment concurrently with western treatment. I was told to have a more alkaline diet - consuming milk/water keffir, having a PCOS diet like avoiding soy and diary, try to have more bd to regulate hormones and essential oil. Anyone tried this as well?

3) i know losing weight will be beneficial for pcos patients but i have been going to the gym for years and all i got was leaner, fitter but not lighter :(

Trying to find more support group to stay positive while hearing to success stories. At least there is some glimpse of hopes.

Sorry for the lengthy post.

P/S: where can i have a crash course of some jargons used here? E.g. whats WW?

Hi, 2 years ago i was diagnosed with pcos. This year i went back to my gyne for follow up check up and he prescribed clomid for me to ovulate. I ovulated in the 1st cycle and got pregnant, unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy. I am in my 2nd cycle of clomid and 2ww now. :D

Hi CTTC, I just started seeing TSB.
During my first consultation, she asked a list of standard questions about my general health. I think she does prescribe herbs to target your specific problem but you will need to let her know first.
Are you seeing her too?

Hi Sharkles, I personally know friends who conceived successfully even though they have pcos. It's not the dead end of the tunnel. I suggest that you check out other fertility specialist who may offer you a different opinion. :) or perhaps you could try going to tcm as it might help improve your overall general health.

It is important that you stay positive and be patient when tcc. I think there are a lot of success stories from the sisters in this forum.

TWW stands for two weeks wait.

Good luck and jiayou! :)

HI Ladies,

I've been TTC for 4 months. And currently, my menses is already late for 6 days. I've never been so late before in my life. It's always 28 days in all the cycles and perhaps will be late by one day like maybe once a year. I've tested 3 times on different days using clearblue digital after my AF is due on 3rd/4th/5th day. All shows "Not pregnant". What should I do? I've read online and there's many scary stories. Like this could be ectopic or perhaps MC. I am not sure now. I only feel lightheadeness everyday. No feeling of nausea, no breast pain, no morning sickness. I also no symptoms of AF coming. Very confused now. I am afraid of false hopes. I know i should relax and don't be stressed up. But I can't control not feeling worried about it because my AF has not come.

Getting fit and lean is good nonetheless but watching your diet would be also key to weight loss. But pls eat nutritious food and don't starve cos you want to loose weight - that's not the way to get your weight down healthily.

Did you mean 2WW? That's two week - that's the period of waiting time after ovulation and bd and then test for pregnancy

Don't scare yourself *hugz* - if it's ectopic or MC, you should feel discomfort or see red.

Perhaps try other test kits? I just used Guardian ones

i read from an article before that ladies (most of the time) stress themselves when they are TTC-ing. I was like that for the past few months. Everytime I THINK I got a symptom, I will go google about it. Everytime I have cramps, I will think that there might be good news. All these are actually putting stress on ourselves.. and when this happen, our menses will delay. And when menses delay, we will have our hopes high thinking we might be pregnant. But when you get a BFN (sigh!) after testing, you will feel more frustrated and wonder what’s actually going on L

so now what I think we should do is to not stress ourselves too often! Have more rest, don’t think so much. In fact, don’t over-think! Take more vitamins, folic acid, eat a healthy diet and rest more!

Hello Ladies! It seems that nowadays many mtbs are starting watsapp group for their newborns. Shall we start a watsapp group also for those TTC? To share our experiences while TTC-ing? So we can chit chat during our 2 WW

Totally agreed with you! I started trying last few months and every month the result make me feel disappointed..thanks for your encouragement

Great idea! What about a ttc closed fb group? So far there is none that is Singapore-based.

I feel, maybe a closed group might invite some of the fb friends and they will talk abt our TTC to others? I'm not sure how it works though

there's always a option to put it as a Secret group! :) then no one else will know :)

But even if it is a close group, the group will get bigger and bigger. And some people may not feel comfortable talking about their difficulties in TTC if the group has their friends in it.

Hi hi.. I created a 2ww/ttc sg group. PM me your fb email address if interested. :)
Hi all... just to clarify.. the group is a secret group hence it is not searchable via FB search. Currently only 3 members including myself. So just pm me ur email add if you like to be added yar. Have a great day ahead!
