Any give birth Mummy that live in yishun ??

Gilera - i hope what i am sharing belowcomes in handy.
what i did was to feed my baby (when he was 5mths old) with cereal for 1 or 2 meals during the day to train him to swallow thicker stuff. Then i feed him (last feed of the day) at about 11pm. i mixed his milk with cereal. eg if bb take 8 scoops of milk i will put in 5 scoops (using milk spoon) of cereal to feed him. just ensure that the teats are big enough.
I wean my bb off night feed when he was 5 mths old. i ensure that he was eating well during the day ie every 4-5hours feed including take in more semi solid food then last feed mix cereal n milk as mentioned above.
if he wakes up in the middle of the night, i will give him pacifier n water. i did that for 1 week n he now can sleep thru-out the night without asking for milk. of coz there are times when he will wake up crying due to nightmares.

thnx - tho heard not to feed cereal thru bottles?

most times bb just super awake at 4am playing and not hungry coz never finish milk.

4-7am start tossing and turning. i repeatedly go to him and put back his pacifier, he toss nt urn and drop out again. last night he kept flopping his legs on the cot quite hard....can hear!!!

HI Joanne, 3 years back my husband go to Little Greenhouse to survey and realised the place is bit cramped and he dont like it. I myself have not been there before, you might want to go and check it out and talk to the teacher to get a feel of it.

It has been years since I login. Happen to chance upon this website just now.
My boy is turning 6 this July. Time really flies.
By the way, mummies from 2010, you all should have read about my 'cryptomonadales'. Ring a ?
Well, due to some issues, ( he was very fidgety) but doing excellent in preparation school. Last year, we heed specialist advise, send my boy for psychological assessment. Never expect him to be on the high IQ range, he is a fast learner but we were not aware. Didn't think that much, just find him unique when it comes to Lego. He wants those complicated for ages 7 and above.
He was being rejected for early P1 intake, for he is not in the exceptional range. (thought can safe 1 year for him)
So I guess cryptomonadales is really a brain food.
It's a challenge to feed his brain juice, he wants to attend all enrichment classes his pre school have, but we try our means. He is not tired, (I am, fetch up and down)
Lately, he insisted to have piano class. So send him to block 351, he started in April. He is doing very well, learning new notes weekly.
He is more on the mature side in terms of thinking, we just explain to him and he is ok. No fuse nor tantrum at all. Hope it remains this way...

hello jantan15. Its great that your son is so active. My daughter was also very keen to learn new things. We got her enrolled in a dance class. If you are looking for more activities then you can check out this new app called Mumradar. It has a good amount of listing of all activity centres and details. Maybe it can help you find more engaging things for your son to do. You can also find other children around your son's age for playdates even. You may even find places close by so you don't have to tire out by fetching him everywhere.
