Engorgement when baby sleeps long hours at night

I'm breastfeeding my baby. I should be happy when my LO starts sleeping long hours at night. But I started getting engorgement when she does. It does not help when she only eats on 1 breast at a time.

Any tips to overcome this? Thank you!

Hi,

You can express out the breast that she does not latch on or when u feel engorge. Hope it helps.

When will the luxury of sleeping throughout the night comes if pumping needed?

If you want to breastfeed for long it's better to express the milk... If not your supply will go down due to the lack of demand.
