Dear all,

I am 34 old, no case of any known gynological problems. I married in 2013. I found out I was pregnant in Oct 2013, however had a natural MC. Now we have been actively trying for a baby since Feb 2015. My periods are always regular, missed period for this month. excited I did a HPT 10 days back, -ve it turned out. I went to doctor on 9 April 2015 for a blood test and result was +ve. My HCG count was 89. This Doctor said its very early in pregnancy. I am now on Folic acid and UtroGestan 100mg (2 tabs at bedtime). Today I did another blood test and HCG count is 830........Is this normal?

Dear ladies, please let me know if I will sustain this pregnancy and become mother of a healthy baby. I am so worried and stressed out.My doctor has asked to see her again in 2 weeks time.

I have no nausea. However have backache, lower abdomen pain and sore breasts.

Hi there.. u r pregnant.. be happy.. reading looks good since its doubling. Every pregnancy.. there is no guarantee of sustaining ya.. since its unknow.. why worry? U cannot stop god's will.. just pray and be positive... ur gyane will take good care of u ya.. Happy Mommy... Happy Baby..

Jus look on the bright sode n dont think so much on the past experience. Every stage in life is a gift to u, n i believe ur baby will be healthy too :) 2weeks may seem like an agony, but jus go on with ur normal activities, dont try to figure out what changes u r experiencing cos all pregnancies are nv identical. Have faith in urself! Have faith in ur god, n most importantly u have all the support from ur family... Jia you! Take gd care ... :)

Positive thinking goes a long way. So far, so good. Be thankful that you do not have nausea... If you need inspiration (to be thankful), just go and read the other forum topics on how mommies with severe morning sickness struggles every day. Count your blessings. Enjoy. No news is usually good news.

So many thanks ladies...truly helpful...I am just keeping my fingers crossed for 25th apr . .. that's when I am seeing my ongyn. ..

I had no nausea for my first pregnancy and had a healthy baby. All the best! :)

Furbee- So sweet of you to remember dear. Thank you sooo much... I had been to gyna yday, she said i was at 5 weeks with gsac and yolk sac clearly visible. However, have some not-so-good news now. Just started spotting around 2 hrs back today. I called up my doc and she says to call her back if I develop blood red bleeding. As of now, its only brownish spotting, seen when I pee and wipe. I am now even afraid to pee...

She has already put me on Utogestan 200mg and Yday she also started me on Proluton jab (weekly once, had first one yday)

I am just hoping for the best, planning to visit my gynae trow morning. Nothing comes easy in my life, is what I realise.. Need all your support please

I rushed to my gynae again this morning, she checked and told me it was some old blood. She gave me one more proluton, She said I shouldn't bleed again, if fresh red blood comes, I will be admitted for a day and see how things go. I came home and saw there is still some bleeding, Its been so stressful and frsutrating.

stay positive ! rest well for the period~!

@pknm
I understand how you feel as I was once like you. but think positive like what the mommies here advised. I had a healthy baby boy in my second pregnancy.

I do experienced slight spotting during the second pregnancy, got very paranoid as well. but thank god things turned out well. I'm sure you will be fine too! follow your gynae's instructions and rest well....

Babybear, thanks so much for your kind words. Yeah, I am trying hard to stay calm and +ve...I just noticed that I have developed slight red bleeding as well.... husband has been my great support... so thankful to him... I will just pray now and see what happens....truly tough times:(

Pknm, talk to baby. Tell him/her to stay strong. U have to be positive too and see this with an open heart. It's uncontrollable. What is yours will meant to be yours no matter what happens. I know it's not easy but we have to accept whatever that's coming be it good or bad. As u r in early pregnancy. . There is still a long way to go.. constant worries only ends when u hold ur baby in ur arms. Have faith and pray. U r in my prayers too.

All, i miscarried yet again.... Doctor now wants blood work and other tests done on me..thanks for your support..

Hi pknm sorry to hear that. Be strong and take time to grief. It's not easy I know. Like I said earlier. What is yours will meant to be yours. One day the rainbow baby will definately come and stay on till he/she to be in ur arms. I had two miscarriages over the period of 5 years. Why I waited this long cos I don't have the courage to try again after my first loss which ended up in a D&C. Too tramatized by the whole incident. And when I was ready 3 years later.. I had another miscarriage so I left it to fate. Who knows 1 yr after.. I am pregnant again and this time round.. she didn't disappoint me. I am holding to my 9 mths old girl. So don't give up. take care and stay strong

Pknm so sry for ur loss. Be strong, u have done ur best and ur family support is with u. Have faith in urself... I know it wont be easy for u, but we're here to support and have a listening 'ear' for u... *hugs*

Hi all, so I back with a series of blood work done on both me and my husband. Though we are still waiting for karyotyping results, other reports came back normal. However, I have my prolactin levels at 23.84 (lab values are between 3.46 - 19.40). Does anyone know if this could be a cause for recurrent miscarriage? Just fyi, I had 2 MCs now.

Sorry for your loss. Be strong ya. I had 2 mc too and the 3rd one finally succeeded. I didn't do any test and told myself if I can't be a parent. So be it. And who knows the moment I gave up my princess came. Don't give up. Hope your next pregnancy will be a successful one.

Agree with @shirleyten , dont give up. Every single chance given is a step closer. :) U are already trying ur best, and doing all within ur means, all u need us just tat one chance. Jiayou.

mentality matters too, to a certain extent... dun have sex just for the sake of having sex/baby...

pknm, don't be discouraged. Sounds like you got good antenatal care and even did testing.

I had 2 recurrent miscarriages (MCs) too -- I miscarried my #4 in 2012 at aged 39 and #5 last month at aged 42.

I've 3 successful births (yes, 3 kids) prior to my 2 MCs, but to me, a new pregnancy is still a life and an MC is a life gone.

My issue is I saw same 2 gynaes for both MCs in 2012 and 2015. Both seem to not bother why I miscarried. Just cited my age as the main factor.

I kind of accepted it but learnt that those over 40 can go on to have successful pregnancies. Am really looking around for a good and caring gynae who'd not brush me off and say "MC is common coz of your age" or those who specialise in high-risk pregnancies. Thus, can you share whom your gyane is please? Thank you.
