Gleneagles charges

Hi there, is anyone could share the cost (roughly) for Gleneagles - C Sect or natural birth? How much usually the package starting from and hospital charge based on 2 beds or 1 bed?

Thanks Pixie. Yup, some of my GFs told me roughly $10k to $12. What about in general like Mt Alvenia or TMC, much cheaper even c-sect?

Few yrs ago my friend give birth natural at mt alvenia.. if i remember correctly is arnd 5k. She told me uob woman cc gt 10% discount

I dont think so. It is a planned c-sect

no complication just normal planned C sect
i need to highlight .. i booked single room but no room hence was offered suite but top near $200 per day so stayed 4 days ...so if strip off this $800 ... total cost also around $9K

i refer to TMC. tot you wanted to knwo TMC cost for comparison

during my time i did comprison price not much diff hence chose tmc cos gynae office there and she is more comfortable with tmc than other hospital

beats me .. but my guess is pple tink they cost a bomb cos it is located near orchard lolz

but to do proper comparison ... ie apple to apple comparison

we should strip out gynae + PD and other specialist cost and compare room rate to room rate of both hospital then = apple to apple comparison

Just to share... I delivered both my kids at Gleneagles. One in 2009, emergency c-sect.. paid cash $3k+. Child stayed in nursery for additional nite @ $500.
In 2012, planned c-sect at $5k cash payout. Total was about $8k.... I guess quite ok for such costs given it was Gleneagles and my gynae was Snr Consultant then.
