Juggle & Race with Explorer Kids and Babies

You would need to exercise good hand-eye coordination for this one! Children from 6 to 12 years old can learn to juggle from the professionals. After the two-hour workshop, they can have unlimited playtime at the indoor playground (top up $5). Have younger children? Sign them up to race instead. Babies from 8 months old to children 6 years old can compete. There are six categories grouped according to age. Registration ends 31 August.

Celebrate Singapore’s Biodiversity

The Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Science Centre Singapore have collaborated to produce science kits (worth $120 each!) for hands-on learning and kids can benefit! At these camps, P3 and P4 students will learn about energy, while P5 pupils get familiar with forces, applying classroom concepts in daily activities. Younger kids aren’t left out: The Science Centre is also hosting a Tinker Fest for children aged three to nine years from 3 to 11 September, 10 am to 6 pm.

Be a Budding Entomologist at Playeum

The Hands-On Budding Entomologists Holiday Camp conceived by Artist Isabelle Desjeux is one that kids who enjoy all things creepy crawly will love! During this four-day camp, children will get acquainted with the bugs (insects, spiders, worms, snails and more) living in the vicinity of Playeum, the Children’s Centre for Creativity. Through daily walks, photography, drawing and research, they will learn about the aspects of entomology and use these as inspiration while drawing, imagining and crafting. On the last day of the camp, parents will be invited to a mini-exhibition at 12:30pm.
