Especially for families with young children, packing for local staycations is often much less daunting as well.

1. D’Kranji Farm Resort

2. Gardenasia Farmstay Villas
Also nestled in the heart of the Kranji Countryside is Gardenasia, whose newly launched farmstay villas let you discover modern rural living. Wake up each day in the peaceful sanctuary of two hectares of lush landscape.
The four units of one-bedroom villas (S$350++ per night) are modelled after the black-and-white British colonial houses. Each villa has a unique interior decor theme – English, Oriental, Balinese and Contemporary. They all boast a comfortable living area equipped with an audio-visual system. 3. Punggol Ranch
Head to Singapore’s wild west for a horse-riding adventure. Located by the tranquil Punggol Jetty waterfront, Punggol Ranch offers 30 charming wagons complete with barbecue facilities for a cowboy-style getaway.
Each air-conditioned Family Wagon (from $200 per night) comes with a queen-size bed and a single bed. 4. CSC at Changi
