The Bugaboo by Diesel Rock Stroller for The Cool Mums and Dads
Dutch stroller makers Bugaboo have already left their mark on the functional stroller scene with models like the iconic Cameleon, the convertible Donkey and the all-terrain Buffalo. But what do you get when a rebel brand like Bugaboo collaborates with another rebel label such as Diesel? You get the Bugaboo by Diesel Rock Collection catered to all the cool parents out there.
The launch of the Bugaboo by Diesel Rock Collection took place at Canvas Singapore yesterday evening. If you are wondering how the venue fits in with the launch of a stroller for little ones who are severely underaged for entry into a night club, that’s because both rebel brands came together to host a “Welcome to The Other Night Club” themed launch. What’s the other night club, you ask? Why, it’s the one where your kids run the party just when you think you are about to get a good night’s sleep. Sounds familiar?
The launch was graced by the media, bloggers and influencers, some of whom brought their bubs along to the creative space that had been given a child-friendly makeover. In line with the rebel theme, there was a makeup station for guests to get a professional rebel makeover, as well as a station for Diesel inspired airbrush tattoos! DJs from the Ministry of DJs were also present to teach guests the basics of operating a DJ console. This was one party the cool kids wouldn’t be forgetting anytime soon.
The Bugaboo by Diesel Rock stroller is the third and final release as part of Bugaboo’s three-year collaboration with Diesel. The two previous collections were the Diesel Denim and the Diesel Military. All you hip and funky parents out there are going to want to get your hands on this uber cool Bugaboo by Diesel Rock stroller. This gorgeous black stroller just spells rocker chic. If you’re a rocker yourself, or a fan of rock, you can count on this funky stroller to complement your look.
What are the stroller’s outstanding features? For starters, it’s got a metallic studded wax coated sun canopy as well as a sturdy seat with vegan leather details. That’s going to go really well with your black leather studded jackets, rocker Mums and Dads.
The back of the seat has got the Diesel logo with the words “Only The Brave” laser engraved on it. The handlebars are also covered in vegan leather. The silver Diesel wheel caps up this stroller’s cool factor. With all of these features, the Bugaboo by Diesel Rock stroller definitely joins the ranks of other super stylish strollers in the market.
According to Mark van Tol, Bugaboo’s Marketing Communications Manager, Asia Pacific, the Bugaboo by Diesel Rock stroller is similar to the Bugaboo Bee Collection in terms of being lightweight and foldable. Hence, it’s the perfect urban stroller with a rock twist. When does it go on sale? Today! And, no, that’s not an April Fool’s joke.
The Bugaboo by Diesel Rock Collection will be available at First Few Years, Mothercare and Motherswork stores from 1 April 2016. It retails at SGD $1,499.
