Have Fun At The Financial Literacy Fiesta!

Does the term “financial literacy” sound very much like a grown-up concept to you? Well, it most definitely isn’t anymore! You can expose your children to financial literacy early in their lives so as to build them a brighter future. How can you get started on that? You could head down to the Financial Literacy Fiesta being held at SMU Campus Green on the 13th and 14th of June! The event is an SG50 initiative brought to you by Singapore Management University and Citi Singapore!

Nothing says fun more than a carnival ground, and that’s what the SMU Campus Green will be like at the Fiesta! Your kids will have a fun-filled day while learning key money management concepts and tips through interactive games that have financial themes. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to teach your children the importance of savings and the development of positive financial habits at a young age.

Apart from these games which are suitable for both the young and old, there will also be other fun activities for the kids! Face painting and temporary tattoo art are just some of them! You can also look forward to a specially curated Financial Heritage Trail which chronicles Singapore’s financial heritage over the years. Children and adults alike can also learn how our currency has evolved over the decades through an interesting exhibit which will showcase that transformation.
